This one-of-a-kind Nepali flute is decorated with coral, turquoise, and lapis lazuli along with emeralds and rubies. The detail and craftsmanship displayed in this unique musical instrument is remarkable. While highly decorative, this is a fully functional Nepali flute.
Attached at the head of the flute is a Chopen, the pendant of the damaru, a victory banner, proclaiming the vanquishing of the four maras and the prison of samsaric mind. Consisting of a triangular header and a tail, it ornaments the simplicity and power of the trumpet and specifically sequences from blue (space-sky), white (water-clouds), red (fire-sun), green (air-vegetation) and yellow (earth-mountain).
