Master Nepali craftsman created this absolutely magnificent sterling silver Dragon Teapot, intricately inlaid with coral, lapis lazuli, and turquoise. The dragon handle is inlaid with turquoise and coral – as is the teapot’s lid.

In Nepal, the dragon is a mythical creature depicted as a large and powerful serpent with magical or spiritual qualities, revered as representative of the primal forces of nature and the universe. They are associated with wisdom and longevity. The detail and craftsmanship displayed in this unique masterpiece is remarkable.

The body of the teapot is circled by the Buddhist sacred Eight Auspicious Symbols, crafted in silver: Endless Knot, Lotus Flower, Dhvaja (banner), Dharmacakra (fly-whisk), Bumpa, Golden Fish, Parasol, and Conch. Below these Symbols, are dragons crafted in silver on either side.
